Below is a list of the Learning Targets for 5th Grade in Physical Education.
Skilled Movement
5.SM.1 I can demonstrate competency in a variety of motor skills and movement patterns.
5.SM.2 I can throw overhand correctly while stepping with my opposite foot and releasing the object as my arm extends toward my target. (manipulative)
5.SM.3 I can forward move to a stop correctly with my hips lowing to a seated position and my stride length is adjusted in preparation to stopping. (combination)
5.SM.4 I can execute tag components correctly using spatial awareness, responding to environmental changes and game speed, and placement is adjusted to avoid taggers. (complex)
